I
Yesterday, we arrived in the cresent city, as first timers- man and wife,
Today, two chicken bones and a plate of dirty rice begat our sacrifice- you transpired Hell, to be my lotus bloom
Echoed through dark valleys perilously close to being consumed
In and through you I have found all I need
In thoughts, actions, words, and deeds
No more shattered midnights, undo the broken shepherd's yew
wallow, basking in the golden rays of a late fading sky
For without you I lose sight of myself Your heart and conviction, I'll never pretend Jillian it's almost time to go again, for this is tomorrow's poem, I rattled it off in the Something Else cafe. . .
Between water- stale coffee and thee!
II
I refuse to let go the thrill you send my coil
I refute any who deign you
For as my eyes wander over your features the love I feel is impossible to transmit Thus, the illusion of this gambit
Poll and tarry, Poll and tarry
III
Jillian, with hallowed gravity of priest or judge- forgive me,
I implore you as my wife and in duty
Let us never forget, or shame our beauty,
Sterling, minted- adoration, no harsh judgement or failure tears
Love, in this flesh, is confined into the chamber of a selfish heart, while the mind steals it from the soul,
As I wade into your tranquil blues, I feel your soft embrace before our touch,
Yet, I can't seem to find too much. . .
While we were not destined to meet- rather it was ordained- by Sky, Fire, Moon, Brick, Breath, Tender. . .
I am calling to you for our tomorrow- which is everyday,
Know that I am your suffering fool, in need of a kiss never abashed, no near miss, a pang of bliss,
Tomorrow, our love won't fail, for tomorrow and all tomorrows after that- in your stead my heart is worn home- Betwixt your lucid hold set me upon your throne; as a queen, deem me divine
For forever may not be enough here's one for tomorrow to keep in trust. . ..

Light is the sound of shadow's retreat,
Dark, avail, cool, sweet.
The East may know the time, while West rises,
Light is held, and night feared,
Day comes in all sizes, but dark fits-
The twilight knit, my favorite eve,
While the October sun is bloodied in a slanting hue,
June's merciless intrustion has it's due,
The length measured in hours of horizon gold,
Can't buy a farthing of night's call,
Racy and unique, night's embrace,
It's sheer dawn that spreads it's maul,
Beckoning us to run and fall,
The cadance of day can only be undone by the steps of night,
Cruel December trembles a short boast,
Summer's fury offers Light seeker's a toast,
Like black chrome Helios' night chariot,
Rides the pagan sky unabashed,
Too many Icarus' mad dash, during day glint,
Seasons give us the subtle hint. . ..

Good morning,
Your breath against the glass, and the dogs must go out.
Pray that another day be ours,
In your arms I surrender. . .
A compass pivots to our course,
Sometimes you have to ask for the things you want the most.

Hold the boons fast,
The helm it shan't last-
Here the howl of the hounds,
As the leaves are coming down,
Beckon Moon descent,
All our cardinal nomads bent.
Red, Orange, and Gold-
Today's Banner unfolds,
Autumn in it's gusts,
Prevail season, must. . .

Spiritual feat, not that classless dogma,
Shaky feet, and it's ok to be new again,
My bride- her molten desire for me keeps me real,
Go ahead- you're turn. . .What's the Deal. . .?

The Jaded Empress,
On her throne, bejeweled in condescention,
Her robes: carefully stuffed with bloated retort,
Casting her perils to any that would heed, even at some who wouldn't,
How Envies green, prey across her cheek,
As thwarted ministers and footman idle under the weight of brash,
No minion is complete without their drubbing,
Prostration, rent- lament- tore,
She touched a morning glory, and it withered from the cold,
The sage, the lover, and the doctor all came to sup, by her tableside;
She rebuked the lover as too greedy,
The sage she scorned for being acute,
As to the doctor, well he departed before judgement was pronounced,
Suspicious that by fraud, he would be denounced,
The Jaded Empress likes her compartments neat,
Everyone dangling on her whims, which adorn her feet,
What she may lack in grace, she exceeds in Pound,
How her shrill manifestations resound,
While the barbs from her glossy bend do sting,
Thankfully, she is not the Queen of Anything.

That rain falling sideways, damp to the bone, the chill that set in at least I'm not alone, I took all my alka-seltzer and we went to bed, I slept for many hours and cleared my head. Thank you wife for caring for my ills. I have to get ready for work now, Take Care, Jill

When you've
all the wars,
The streets are in National ruin,
Remember, we stand United,
There is no shame in who we are,
The stripes and stars, carry us on,
At what cost? Whose to tally?
Now is the time to rally, revel,
There may not be another time,
So defend what you have or watch as it is given away,
Do not be jealous, nor suspicious,
But vigilant, as the Eagle to our Union,
The Eagle to our union,
Act on our symbols of liberty,
Pull them out of dusty tool boxes and sheds,
Clean them up and use them,
Believe there is a cause, in self and country,
Express that belief.
It' harder to build and culitvate than it is to maim and slaughter.
So, in parting honor our brothers and daughters in arms, help them to believe, that the boon they bestow, is Abject Liberty.
